Proverbs 2

Overview
This chapter expands upon Proverbs 1, immediately starting by beckoning the reader to seek wisdom, "if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord"Proverbs 2:4-5. We know that fearing the Lord is the start of all knowledge, and this continues to build on that principle.
Once again, these lessons make it clear that by seeking the Lord, it will deliver you from the way of evil. Evil, in the general sense, means sin. It is here where we start to see the everyday dilemmas as mentioned in the introduction to the book: "So you will be delivered from the forbidden woman, from the adulteress with her smooth words"Proverbs 2:16. So, turn away from Lust and sin and follow the wisdom of the lord.
